Of these children, 80% will be removed from their home and enter foster care.
Of the children who are removed from their home and enter foster care, 40% will experience a termination of parental rights or enter a guardianship program.
FOSTER CARE PLACEMENT BY REGION
Children enter foster care from across the state, but some regions experience higher rates than others. This view divides the state by its 16 Coordinated Care Organization regions.
